We had a breakthrough in 1997 to supply a small quantity of 30,000 Metric Tons (MTs) in a single shipment of high value complex fertilizer DAP.

The following year, 1998, we exhibited our potential to our supplier by handling 100,000 Metric Tons of DAP and which increased further to shipments totalling 320,000 MTs in 1999.The market for imports of fertilizers particularly DAP turned bearish during the year 2000 due to excess stock and reduction subsidies to importers. In spite of this change, we sold approximately 60,000 MTs during 2000.After which our sales fluctuated based on the requirements of the Indian market and the government subsidies to the the fertilizer industry.
